Norseland is committed to reducing food waste and is a proud partner of the FareShare scheme involved in collection and re-distribution of good quality surplus. These aim to serve some of the most vulnerable people in UK communities, including domestic violence refuges, homeless shelters, hospices and food banks.
On 27th May the Norseland team sent a mixture of cheese to FareShare weighing over 210 kg which has been distributed across the UK to support families in need.
This week the team has also visited the South Petherton, Wincanton and Yeovil Hospital to deliver over 80 boxes of cheese and a large number of disposable aprons.
